🔵 “Storm Emeralda” Secret Rares Revealed!

Fans have begun posting Storm Emeralda’s secret rares to social media ahead of the set’s July 31st Japanese release. The lineup (#077–#113) is headlined by Mega Rayquaza ex, alongside Mega Golisopod, Golurk, and Malamar ex, Raikou ex, and a run of special-art trainers and energies.

The standout is the Mega Rayquaza ex SIR, illustrated by Kazuki Minami, winner of the 2024 Pokemon TCG Illustration Contest and only his second card for the game. English collectors will get these in the Delta Reign set on November 6th.

🔵 “Eevee & Friends: Dream-Illustrating Figures” Fully Revealed for China!

Pokémon China has fully revealed “Eevee & Friends: Dream-Illustrating Figures,” its next line of TCG figures spotlighting the Eeveelutions, releasing August 7th at 99 yuan (about $15) per box. Each box packs a random Pokémon figure modeled on its card artwork, a reverse holo of that card, a card-holder stand, and one Terastal Festival booster pack (down from two in prior sets).

The chase is a secret Illustration Rare Eevee figure, pulled at a friendlier 1-in-80 rate versus the 1-in-143 of past editions. It follows China’s 151 figures (Nov 2025) and Water Pokémon set (April 2026), both of which later reached Japan.

🔵 Redditor Finds Collection at Grandma’s worth over $250k

After their grandmother, now in her 80s, kept insisting she’d stashed away Pokémon packs, one Redditor and his brothers finally searched her house late last year. Beyond the expected box of collectables, the real haul was hidden under a TV cabinet: sealed packs, Charizards, a fat binder of Unlimited and 1st Edition Fossil and Jungle cards, and even her original eBay receipts.

The wholesome twist: she’d quietly been buying extra packs and squirreling them away for the grandkids’ future for some 20 years, without ever telling them. All told the collection is valued at over $250,000.

The two most recent comparable Black Labels sold for $13,100 (April 12, 2026) and $12,611 (March 8, 2026) at auction, so this record ~$19,200 result runs roughly 47% above the latest comp. For scale, a PSA 10 of the same card brought just $1,543 on July 23, 2026.

🔵 PSA 10 Legendary Collection Reverse Foil Pidgey Sells for $8.75k

Legendary Collection (2002) is famous for its ‘firework’ reverse-holo pattern, and gem-mint reverse foils are genuinely scarce; this Pidgey shows a PSA 10 population of just 13 out of 648 graded. The set’s chase cards can reach staggering numbers: a PSA 10 Gengar from Legendary Collection sold for $408,000 via Fanatics on June 14, 2026.

Comps are thin and dated: the most recent recorded PSA 10 sold for $1,430 at auction on March 15, 2025, making this ~$8,750 result roughly 6× higher, a steep climb that tracks surging demand for Legendary Collection reverse foils and how few gem-mint copies exist.

The most recent comparable lot of four sold for $14,550 at auction (56 bids) on June 8, 2026, making this ~$15,700 result roughly 8% higher; an earlier lot went for $10,750 on December 26, 2025. For per-pack scale, a single ‘heavy’ (21 g) Legendary Collection pack sold for $5,500 on April 19, 2025.

🔵 Japanese LEGEND Perfect Set Sells for $4.3k

The LEGEND Perfect Set was the send-off for Japan’s LEGEND era (the HeartGold & SoulSilver block), sold on July 10, 2010 only at Pokémon Centers and at cinemas showing the Zoroark movie. It bundles one booster from each LEGEND expansion (HeartGold Collection, SoulSilver Collection, Reviving Legends, Clash at the Summit) plus Cosmos-holo shiny promos of Entei, Suicune, and Raikou, which makes a sealed copy genuinely scarce.

Comps are thin and over a year old: this sealed set last sold for $830 at auction on May 7, 2025 (after a stronger $1,925 result that March), so at ~$4,300 the price has climbed well past both, roughly 420% above that last sale and about 120% over the March result.
