🔵 Day and Night Pikachu ex Special Illustration Rares Revealed for 30th Celebration

TPCi has officially revealed the Special Illustration Rare versions of the day and night Pikachu ex from the upcoming 30th Celebration set. The two cards join the Double Rare versions shown earlier, and the set's products begin releasing worldwide on September 16th.

Both Pikachu ex will also appear as promos in the Espeon ex and Umbreon ex Ultra-Premium Collections. On the Japanese side, several of the 30 total Pikachu cards planned for the set have now been revealed.

🔵 19 of the 30 Pikachu Now Revealed from 30th Celebration

Pokemon Japan has now revealed 19 of the 30 Pikachu cards coming in the 30th Celebration set. Every booster pack includes one of the 30, each printed with a glimmering fireworks foil layer across the whole card.

Four of the Pikachu have been officially revealed in English so far, and the set releases worldwide on September 16th.

🔵 Polymarket Launches Prediction Markets on Pokemon Card Prices

Polymarket has opened prediction markets on Pokemon card prices, letting traders wager Up or Down on whether individual cards and sealed products gain or lose value. More than a dozen contracts now trade, tracking ungraded prices from the Collectr app and covering cards like Charizard ex, Pikachu ex, and Bulbasaur alongside sealed booster boxes and the Celebrations Ultra Premium Collection.

Most of the markets currently lean bearish, reflecting trader expectations of further price cuts after buyer attention rotated toward newer sets in late July and early August. Volumes stay small for now, a few hundred to a few thousand dollars per contract, as Polymarket extends its catalog beyond politics and crypto into collectibles.

🔵 Black & White Noble Victories Booster Box Sells $12,988

Noble Victories was the third main set of the Black & White era, released in November 2011. Its top chases include the full art Victini (#98), full art N (#101), and Haxorus (#88), and sealed product has grown especially scarce.

Sealed boxes sold for around $4,300 in spring 2025, making this $12,988 result roughly 3x higher (~+202%). The run is still going: a sealed box brought $11,200 as recently as June 2026, so it has added another ~16% in the two months since.

🔵 20th Anniversary Mythical Collection Complete Set Sells $7,500

The Mythical Pokemon Collection was a 2016 20th Anniversary series of 11 monthly boxes, one for each mythical Pokemon from Mew to Meloetta, each pairing a foil promo card and a collector pin with two Generations packs. A complete set gathers all 11 sealed boxes.

This complete set sold for $7,500 on August 13, a pullback of roughly 17% from the $9,000 it reached in July 2026. Even so, it is up about 70% from the roughly $4,400 these sets traded at a year ago in August 2025.

🔵 2002 1st Edition Neo Destiny Complete Master Set Sells $23,111

Neo Destiny (2002) was the next set in the Neo series to introduce more Shining cards, led primarily by Shining Charizard (as one of the more popular Pokemon in general). This 1st Edition complete set includes every card in the set, including all of the Shining cards which is rare to surface in the past couple of years.

The closest recent comp is a 1st Edition Neo Destiny set of 113 with nine cards PSA graded (9 and lower), which sold at Heritage Auctions for $21,250 on May 7, 2026. That puts this fully raw complete set roughly 9% higher (the graded cards in this comp make it a slightly imperfect match).

🔵 PSA 10 Pokemon Center Charmander Promo Sells $6,400

The card sold for $6,400, up roughly 56% (~+56%) from the most recent comp of $4,100 in April 2026. A year earlier PSA 10 copies traded closer to $3,300 to $3,600, so the card has nearly doubled over the past year.

Uncut sheets are full press sheets from the printing process, showing an entire print run laid out in a grid before the cards were cut apart. This one holds the holographic cards from Fossil Unlimited (1999).

The most recent comp is a Fossil Unlimited holographic uncut sheet that sold at Heritage Auctions for $27,500 on March 27, 2026. That total included a 25% buyer's premium, so the hammer bid was $22,000, putting this eBay sale roughly 36% lower (~-36%). Uncut sheets like this one rarely come to market, so comps are thin.

🔵 1996 CoroCoro Incorrect Illustrator Pikachu Sells $1.3M in Record Private Sale

Distributed in the October 1996 issue of CoroCoro Comic, this glossy Pikachu is one of the earliest Pokemon cards ever printed. It is the “Incorrect Illustrator” variant, which credits Ken Sugimori rather than the true artist, Keiji Kinebuchi. This CGC Gem Mint 10 copy changed hands in a private sale brokered by Goldin.

This $1.3 million private sale is a record for the card, so there is no prior public comp for this exact copy. The closest related result is a 1999 Ivy Pikachu #025 glossy promo in PSA 10 that sold for $60,000 on April 3, 2026, putting this original 1996 variant at roughly 22x (about +2,000%) that later printing.
